Churdhar is the highest peak in the lower Himalaya Range at 3650m it’s located at Nohradhar, Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh, India. Churdhar is one of the easy treks. Churdhar is known as Chur Chandni, which means mountain dressed in the moonlight. From the summit, you can see the beauty of nature. That is an adorable moment.  From the Churdhar summit,  you can see Shimla, Kasauli, Solan,  Dehra Dun, and Chandigarh.

Nauradhar – Starting Point of the Trek. The beauty of Churdhar is the short drive to the starting point. It’s only about six hours Drive from Chandigarh. From Chandigarh one needs to drive to Solan on the route to Shimla and then take a right to Rajgarh road. Within a couple of hours, we reach the small town of Nauradhar. Nauradhar is the starting point of the trek to Churdhar.  From Nauradhar, it is a 16 km walk to the top. it will take about 7-9 hrs to complete.

Haripurdhar Nohradhar and Chaupal are also the basis for the trek to Churdar peak. Nohradhar is the most popular base for the Churdhar trek.
